The High Tech Hall of Shame?

We have a lot of great tech toys these days, but not every technological product can be a winner. We have seen quite a number of really bad ones, some REAL losers. And we all have had some of these (come on, don't lie). PC World has compiled a very nice list of the The 25 Worst Tech Products of All Time. Take a look back, if you dare!

Update: Ok, it is not all that bad. I have found another list by PC World, The 100 Best Products of the Year. Now this is a "juicy" list!

Tons of music videos from the 80’s

Check out this amazing list some really great blasts from the past. There are also some not-so-great, but all is fair. Time to go back...

Tomorrow is Towel Day - Don't Forget Your Towel

Blue Moon Rising Reports:

Remembering Douglas Adams on Towel Day:
Thursday, May 25th is the day to celebrate the life of one of science fiction’s most imaginative and irreverent contributors: Douglas Adams. If you’re not familiar with his Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series, then your peril sensitive sunglasses need serious adjustment.

Read all about the origins and evolution of Towel Day at the aptly named Towel Day website, but the upshot is simple: Don’t forget your towel.

MutatoMuzika

MutatoMuzika rocks! I ran across this gem of virtual realty that is backed by Mark Mothersbaugh, co-founder of Devo (you remember Devo, right?). It will open the door to Devo Club, MutatoMuzika, as well as Mark's visual artwork. Some really cool stuff. The site itself is something of a masterpiece. Explore and enjoy! Ciao!

Best Buy Invaded By Blue Shirt Improv Artists

Posted on Slashdot:
"About 80 Improv Everywhere agents invaded their local Best Buy store wearing blue shirts and Khakis. Eventually they were asked to leave, but not before capturing some great photos and video." From the article: "Security guards and managers started talking to each other frantically on their walkie-talkies and headsets. 'Thomas Crown Affair! Thomas Crown Affair!,' one employee shouted. They were worried that were using our fake uniforms to stage some type of elaborate heist. 'I want every available employee out on the floor RIGHT NOW!'"
